Description
Hi-Mod mechanical terminals have a unique crown ring that assures the wires stay evenly spaced around the fitting, eliminating the need for bending the wires, assuring that the cone is in the proper place, and keeping the strands from dropping into the cone slot.
• The longer cone evenly spreads the load along the wire, increasing the compressive forces inside the fitting
• The crown ring is manufactured from aluminum bronze, which reduces the galling problem inherent in these fittings without bending the wire
• All ends shown are for 1x19 wire only; fittings for other wire sizes and strand configurations can be special ordered
